Why is it that as soon as September hits the months that follow fly by. It is already the 24th of September and October is only a week away. Sad to say but Halloween is just around the corner and then Thanksgiving and before you know it Christmas. I love the Holidays. We are so excited. This is Gavin first year that he knows what is going on. I am excited to see how he reacts to all the lights, the presents, and of course Santa Clause. Charly is just tickled pink of the thought of Santa bringing her Ken and Barbie. A part of me just wants to put the lights and the tree up now but I guess I don't want it to come and go that fast.
This summer has actually to be honest been really boring. We have not done anything but work. I have been so busy with work ever since I became the Assistant Manager but I am loving it. I am enjoying the new freedom that I have recieved being in this position and then learning new thing around the hotel. I just learned last week how to vaccum the pool. Who can say the know how to do that. It has definitely been a challenge for me, but for those who know me I love new challenges.
Chris is loving his job. They are making Stevens Henager a Campus here in Idaho Falls because they are doing so well and he has applied for the job to be the Director of Admissions. We will know next month if he gets it. It would be an awesome opportunity for him. He also starts his MBA in February of next year. Here we go with school again but it is only 15 months so I think we should be able to handle it.
Charly turned four this summer. She has had so much fun with her Aunt Kiley and cousin Taylor. She loves playing with them. My sister Kiley is our Nanny. She watches my kids, my sisters little girl (Taylor) and then my other sisters boy ( Jack). They have a blast. When I have a day off in the middle of the week she asks if Kiley is coming over and I tell her that I get to stay home with her but of course she always tells me, no I want Ki. She is currently doing Preschool with my sister as well. She can't get enough of it. It completely boggles my mind that she will be in Kindergarten next year. I am not sure I am ready for my little girl to grow up.

Gavin (nickname Mr. Bones) turned one. He is such a little boy. I love him to pieces. His favorite toy right now is my toothbrush. For some reason this little boy has to have something in his hand at all time. When he is eating he has to have a spoon or a fork, if he is walking around playing he has a spatula or my toothbrush. He loves to drive Charly crazy. He wants to get into all of her stuff and of course she does not like that at all. We have had some literal throw downs at my house between these two. My life would not be the same without these two. I love being a mom and love watching the two of them grow.
