Ok so I stink at this!!

So I lied I have been so bad about updating my blog. It is March and the last time I wrote anything it was December. Where did the time go. Well let me really quickly catch you up on a few things. Chris got a new job working at Stevens Henager as a Career Counselor and he is loving it. It has been a really good move for him. I am still at the hotel and loving it. Charly is getting bigger everyday and then there is Gavin. He is my little bug. He is 8 months old now and looks like he is only 4 months. He barely fits into 3 to 6 month clothes. Come on boy you need to get some fat on you. Anyway we are doing good and really want Spring to get here fast. Love you all and miss you tons.

We are alive!!!

Christmas is three days away and I keep thinking back on this past six months and I can't believe how much has happened and how fast time has gone by. Well since Gavin has been born (Which just so you all know he is almost 6 months, I am really sorry that I have not updated this in so long) we have had quite the adventure in our lives. In October Chris got offered a job with Verizon Wireless in Idaho Falls Idaho. So we up and moved. I was so excited to be back up here close to family but I had a really hard time leaving all the friends that we have in Utah. We moved in with my parents in October. In November I got a job working at the Ameritel Inn in Idaho Falls. I am the Director of Sales and also working at the Front Desk. I get to work Monday through Friday 7 to 3pm. I love it. I never pictured myself working at a hotel but it has really been fun. I enjoy seeing different people everyday and also getting to know the regulars who come and stay with us.

Charly and Gavin are doing so good. Charly is my little angel who reminds me everyday how much I love being a mom. Then there is my little monkey. Gavin is getting big slowly. He is just such a tiny little squirt. He is very independent already and we have to force feed him to eat sometimes. It is like he doesn't have time for food. Gavin will be six months old next month and Charly will be going into SunBeams. My kids are growing up and I am loving every stage that we are going through.

The exciting news is that we bought a HOUSE!!!!!! We just signed papers on the 18th and moved in on the 19th of this month. We are so excited to have our own place and especially the fact that it is ours. I can let my kids cry as loud as they want and as long as they want. I say that because for those of you that do not know my kids I am blessed with criers. My mom tells me everyday what comes around goes around. I guess I was a huge cry baby and so I am being blessed with two of them. I love my kids and would not trade them for anything.

We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I am going to do better about blogging next year. I love you and miss all of you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now we are waiting for a phone call from the hospital telling us when we can come in and get started. They are going to induce us today. I am so excited to see him but I am so nervous for the process of him getting here. Wish us luck. We will post a picture as soon as he is here. Love you all.

Quick Update

It is the end of June and I have to say someone upstairs must really love me but I have really enjoyed the cooler weather. I have a feeling this week is going to kill me. Everyone has been complaining about the rain and I have been loving it. Things have been quiet at our house so far this month, really not to much going on. We have really enjoyed having Chris home at night and I am loving that we don't go to bed with dishes in the sink. I know it sounds dumb but it is so nice. Charly turned three this month and is talking so much that sometimes I just want to put ear plugs in. I will do a post later of her Birthday. She is so funny. I wish I could just tape record her and let all of you hear some of the funny things she says or the things she comes up with to get out of going to bed. I love her I do not know what I would do without her. Well as far as this baby goes my doctor told me that if he is not here by the 7th of July that he will start me that morning. I am so excited for him to get here. I officially only have two weeks from tomorrow. Two more weeks of being pregnant and uncomfortable. I am sure all you women who read this who have been pregnant know exactly how I feel.

Baby and Tummy Update

I can't believe it is the end of May. I am currently 33 weeks along so that means I only have 7 weeks to go. I wish I could say that he is coming sooner but I don't know that yet. I am so ready for this little guy to be here. I am not sure if I am ready for the nightly feedings and the lack of sleep but lets be honest I am not getting any sleep right now being pregnant so I guess it won't be any different. I will just have a cute little face to wake up to at 3 am instead of my nightly routine to the bathroom. Below are some pictures of me and my sister Sydney who is only two weeks ahead of me and we are both having boys.

This is me at 27 weeks

Sydney is 35 weeks here and I am 32 weeks

Random Tidbits

I can not tell you how nice it has been to have Chris home at night now. Charly is loving having dad be home, plus it has been a nice break for me because I have been so tired lately. The last few weeks we have gone a few outings hear or their just to get out of the house and have a change of pace at night. One evening we went up to Thanksgiving Point to the Petting Zoo for Family Home Evening. Charly was a little nervous at first but then we warmed up to the animals. We starting walking out to the animals and Charly just stopped dead in her tracks and informed us that she was scared. Chris carried her for a little bit and then she was fine. She was not so sure about the horses though. They were scary to her.

There was a baby calf that was just tired to the tree that we could go right up to and pet and feed.

Congradulations Chris!!!

On May 1, 2009 Chris graduated from Utah Valley University with his Bachelors in Business Management and an Associates in Behavioral Science. We are so proud of him. That morning Chris and I got the opportunity to go and listen to President Monson speak at the morning session of graduation. It was a neat experience for us to go and listen to the words he had to offer the graduates. Later that afternoon Chris got the opportunity to walk with his fellow classmates and recieved his diploma. These past four years have been long, stressful, and a lot of lonely nights for me, but it has been well worth it now that he is done. We are now just trying to find a job. Wish us luck.

Charly's new sayings

Charly has quite the way of making all of us laugh sometimes. This week she has been full of new sayings and most of the time is with the response from me of "What was that". The other day I was putting water in the bath and she comes up behind me and asks me,

"Mom do you want a piece of me!"

Of course I was shocked by what she said so I asked her to repeat it. When I realized that I was correct in what she was saying I had to just laugh. I have no idea where they one came from.

Then last night I was doing the dishes and I hear her say,

"Mom shake your booty!"

Now I know where that one came from because her Aunt Hailey tells her little girl to shake her booty all the time. I just thought it was funny that she was saying it to me.

For all of you that do not know Charly is obsessed with the movie Mama Mia. She loves it. She knows the words to all the songs and is now doing some of the actions. So lately when we watch the movie when the song Don't go wasting your emotions come on she climbs up on my lap and puts her hands on my cheeks and sings to me. It is really quite funny. For those of you that have seen the movie she does the crawling in that screen also. I just have to giggle everytime that scene comes on.

As far as for the rest of us Chris will graduate two weeks from today. He has been working really had and we are really proud of him. Now if we could just find a job it would even be more exciting. I am doing good. The baby is really active. He definately wants to make sure I know he is there. The other night Chris felt him completely roll over and he asked me how I sleep when he is so active. Well lets say sometimes I don't. I am 27 weeks and things are going good. I am looking forward to some warm spring weather. Yesterday we got a foot of snow. It was really depressing, but that is Utah weather for you. It can snow one day and be 70 degrees the next week. Don't we all just love it. I promise to try and get some updated pictures this weekend and post them. Have a wonderful weekend.
