"Ready, Get set, Go" 2009 is here and their is only one week left in the month of January. We have so many exciting things coming up this year I am afraid 2010 is going to be here sooner than I want it to be. Well let me tell you what is going on in our lives for 2009.
Charly made a great start by falling off of grandma's chair and getting a concussion on January 2nd. I mean she did even give us a full week into 09 before we had to have something happen. We didn't take her in but we new that is what she had. When she fell I have never heard her cry like that before. She was hurting. Lucky she did not try and caught her fall because she had a pencil in the other hand, so things could have been worse. When she stopped crying she immediately wanted to fall asleep. We kept her awake by giving her a bath but not ten minutes after her bath she through up. It was a really long night and I am just glad that it is over and that everything is good.
Chris will graduate in April. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea how excited I am for him. He has really worked hard for this and it has been a long four years but we are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.
Lastly we are having another BABY. We are 15 weeks along and getting more and more excited everyday. This little one is due on July 14th. So lets all hope for my sake that it is a warm summer not and a scorching hot summer. We get to find out if this is a little boy or girl on the 17th of February if the baby corporates. Charly is going to be such a good big sister. For awhile we would tell her that mommy is going to have a baby. Her response to me was "Mommy, no baby." Now when I ask her where the baby is she points to my tummy. I am so excited her this new adventure and to continue the growth of our little family.
To add to that my sister Sydney is pregnant with me. She just found out that she is having a boy and I am so excited for her. She is two weeks ahead of me. I am so excited to be pregnant with her. It is fun.
Well I will keep all of you posted on things and I hope you all have a wonderful 2009.

Thanksgiving and Christmas
Over Thanksgiving we got to spend with my family. I love it when I get together with my sisters and we always have enough food to last days. We got the opportunity to spend five days up in Idaho. It was so nice to just sit around and do nothing. (And when I say nothing we literally did nothing) To me those are the find of breaks I love. I am not the type of person who like to be on the go all the time. I am more than satisfied with just hanging out with friends and family and just being together.
Doing the every other year this with Chris's family and mine with holidays made it that Christmas was in Utah this year. Which for me was excited yet sad. I am always sad when I do not get to see my family but I am learning to share. (Slowly but surely)
The month of December we got pounded with snow. When they say it is going to snow it snows. So the plan was that Chris's parents were going to come to our house Christmas morning. Then we starting thinking maybe we should just go up there. So we watched the weather and they kept saying their was going to be an awful storm on Christmas Day. So we were preparing that we were not going to go up their and we are glad we didn't. The road were yucky up in Ogden so it was a good thing we stayed home. I am going to stop rambling and get this post finished.
So we had Christmas by ourselves. We put Chary to bed Christmas Eve and we started putting out her fun stuff. Chris got to put together his first santa gift. I don't think he was thrilled about it but guess what it will not be your last. We got up the next morning and Charly walks out and looks at her new desk, the stroller, and the new baby doll. Then she looks under the tree and sees that their are tootsie rolls and we asks me to open it. So I guess that was more exciting then the rest. The first few presents she opened were some new sticker books, puzzles, and coloring books. By the time those were opened she was done. She did not want to open anything else. So we went and had breakfast, open presents from each other, and then just left the rest until Charly wanted to finish. I think we finished opening her last present at 6 pm that night. It was a nice relaxing day. We had fun. I have added some pictures to show you some of that morning.

Halloween 2008
This year for Halloween we got to go up to Idaho and spend it with my family. Charly got to go Trick or Treating with her cousins. It was fun to watch her. She has fun but you can tell my daughter is kind of a nerd when she asks at about the third house if they are going to give her a book. She loves books but I just had to laugh when she asked. Charly was a little Indian this year. I am not an artist so she just has triangles on her cheeks to represent her war painting.

Family Pictures
Over Halloween weekend my family got together and did family pictures. It has been a long time since we have had a professional take them and that chance for all of us to be there. They turned out so good.

Scentsy Consultant
Buy. Host. Join.
On October 24th I decided to become a Scentsy Consultant. I have never done something like this before but thought I would give it a try. I had my launch party on November 6th and then have had three parties since then. I have had so much fun being in my friends homes and seeing the excitement of people when they see how much fun Scentsy really is.
Now of all times is why I am so excited for Scentsy because of Christmas. Scentsy candles are amazing gifts. We have some really good packages just for this time of year. I really want to thank everyone that has supported me so far and hope that all of you will spread the word. Also if any of you want to Host a party let me know. It is so easy and you can earn so much free stuff. I hope all of you have wonderful Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays.
Love you all.

It has been awhile
Can you believe the month of November is only a week away. Thanksgiving is going to be here before I know it and then CHRISTMAS. Wow I am not ready for this. Most of all I am not ready for the cold weather and the SNOW. If the snow could stay on the side of the roads and not on them then I would enjoy winter more. Ok let me catch you up on what has been going on in our lives. It is not very interesting so don't get to excited.
The first of he month we went out and took family pictures. We had a good time. Our friend did such a good job. I love them.

Chris is half way through his semester at school. Which means we only have one more semester to go. I am so looking forward to him graduating. It will be nice to have College life behind us and have Chris start using the skills that he has learned. This is my opinion Chris may have a different one. All I can say is I am tired of being a single parent three nights a week.
Charly is talking more and more everyday. Her new thing right now is O KAY. I would tell her it is time for dinner or please take this to your room and her response is O KAY. She is really quite funny. This morning I was trying to get her up so we could get ready to go and I will tell you this my daughter is not a morning person. She must get that from her mom. I went in her room and turned her light on and tried to get her up so we could get dressed. She grumbled at me and told me no. So I left the room with the light on and went to finish getting ready myself. Next thing I know I hear her tell yell NO MOM and she slammed her door shut. I looked and Chris and thought "She did not just slam her door in my face". So what do you do. I don't think she really understands what she did, ok ya she probably does but I think I was so surprised by her actions that I didn't know what to do but laugh. Does is sound like I have a drama queen on my hands or what. I mean we bypassed the princess stage and went straight to queen.
Lastly we have a new pet in our house. Chris took Charly out yesterday and bought her two goldfish. When they called me and told me my first question was did you guy something to put them in. And of course he did. Then I asked what Charly thought. He told me that she wants to hold them. He said she keeps squeezing the bag. When I got home Charly took me in and showed me her fish. I asked her what their names were. She told me Dad and Mom. I laughed and asked her again. I guess we decided on Elmo and Blue. Not sure which one is which but those are there names. She was able to feed them last night and Chris told me that she kept telling them "UP FISH UP" because they weren't going up to get their food. I will keep you updated on how long they last.

7 Weird Things
My sister Lindsey and my friend Maria have tagged me to write 7 weird things about me. So here you go.
1. It frustrates me when a cupboard door is left open especially in my kitchen.
2. My closet it color coordinated. That way if I want to wear something black then I only have to look in one section.
3. I organize any candy I eat by colors. I eat all the duplicates first to where their is only one color of each left. Then I eat my least favorite color first leaving my favorite color to eat last.
4. I love to shop. It is not that fact of just going shopping it is a hunt for the good deal. The best deal I have ever found is I got a khaki jacket on sale for a dollar. It was great.
5. I hate wearing socks. I will wear flip flops or sandals until it snows. I do not care how cold it is I will not put socks on.
6. When we go grocery shopping I have to organize the cart. You can't just throw things in their it has to be in some kind of order.
I could only think of six for now. If I think of one more I will add it. I tagg Katie, Angelique, and Mardi.

Dress-Up
About a month ago I went to the dollar store to get something and when I arrived I noticed that they had dress up fairy wings, fairy skirt, shoes, tiars, bowas, and pom poms. So for the fun of it I bought it all for Charly. When we got home I put it all on her. She loved it. She cried when we had to take it off for bed time.
About a week later my neighbor asked if I would watch their little girl so they could go out. Brinley is about 5 months younger than Charly but I love having over. She is so stinkin cute. So after work I went back to the dollar store and got some for Brinley. They had so much fun. They thought it was great. Below are pictures of the two of them.

Last weekend Chris and I were invited by our good friends the Kendalls to go to Lagoon. I have never been on a roller coaster and I am absolutely scared to death of heights. All week long I was trying so hard to get out of it but it didn't work. We went. When we got there they went straight to the old white roller coaster. They told me this was an easy one. We got climbing up the first hill and I was thinking ok I can do this. Then we dropped. I thought I was going to lose my stomach. I have never been so scared in my life. When we got off they asked me how it was. I told them that if this was the easiest one that I was done. I was not going to go on any more.
Immediately we head to the Spider and as I am standing in line I realized I can't do it. For those of you who may think I was just being baby that is fine, think that all you want. I was not going to do it.
The Spider
The SpiderSo then we go to "Wicked". O my lanta I was not going to even get in line for this. I do not know how they did it but they did.
"Wicked"
"Wicked"After that we went on some I decided to get brave and go on some rides.
We went on a fun smaller ride. Not sure what it was called but here is a picture of us on it. Then we went on the Colossus. This ride goes upside down twice. Maria told me just to keep my head back and close my eyes. So I did and it was not that bad. So the rest of the rides we went on I decided that as long I closed my eyes I was ok.
